Enable automatic transition so products switch to In Stock when the release date arrives.

Steps

Go to WooCommerce → Pre-Orders → Settings.

  1. Enable Automatic Availability Transition.

  2. Select what should happen on release day:

    • Stock status → In Stock

    • Order status transition (optional)

  3. Save changes.

Expected result:
On the release date, products become purchasable normally without manual edits.

Common issues

  • Product didn’t switch to In Stock
    Confirm the product has a release date and the server time matches your store timezone.

  • Orders didn’t change status
    Make sure the transition status is set in settings.
